Merry Day-After Christmas!

Well, it's over. The kids got more toys than they know what to do with, and I've spent pretty much all day ripping open boxes and cursing the invention of those little twisty things. (I've got open wounds on my thumb and wrist to show for my work, too.)

We had a good holiday overall. I took the kids to my dad's last Friday and we went over to see my granddad Sunday, so there was lots of traveling. Squirt was waaaaaay better than I had any right to expect him to be; I honestly thought he was sick on the way over to Oklahoma, he was so good. The upside to all the traveling is I got quite a bit of knitting done (pictures to come ...), including some mitts and a good bit of my second floozy sock. (My goal is to have it finished by New Year's.)

Hope everyone else had a good one!

Those twisty things are definitely a hellish invention. We did, for the first time, the whole "stay up until way too late on Christmas Eve building a large toy" thing.

And have you posted pics of the socks before? Can't wait to hear about 'em! Dana

I'm glad you guys had a nice Christmas - sounds like it was busy. HATE the twisty things. And your kids are beautiful. : )
